The site for the Ste. Genevieve plant was selected after very careful consideration of many alternatives. The chosen location is the only one that met several key considerations for siting this facility:• High quality natural resources that generate lower air emissions during the manufacturing process • Ability to acquire sufficient property • Accessibility to multiple transportation modes • On the Mississippi River south of the lock and dam network • Previously quarried land to minimize overall environmental impact • A nearby, skilled workforce |
